An email sent out by the Author's Guild to members, describing the Google Print program, and asserting that most publishers do not have the rights to submit authors' material to Google. (As a side note, the links to Google Print pages still work fine; the URLs have not been changed since the launch.)

Some choice quotes from Tom Turvey, reported from the London Book Fair. "“We currently drive 52% of traffic to online booksellers,” said Turvey. " and "All major publishing houses are already participating in the initiative." Also from the Book Fair, another quote from Turvey to the effect that there will soon be localised versions of Google Print available, and emphasising the ability for publishers to make direct sales through Google Print.
