Taberna Mexican Restaurant

(775) 588-7777 [1] 168 Highway 50 Stateline, NV

It's in the Lakeside Casino (small and dumpy), but the mexican food is really good and really cheap. The place is called Taberna. As you drive out on 50, the Lakeside casino is basically the last major building on the left, after the golf course. The restaurant is downstairs in the back, you drive through an underpass below the casino to get to it. google Recommended by Matt (Reidenbach?)

Taj Mahal

(Indian), 3838 Lake Tahoe Blvd, (annexed to Quality Inn - eat here, don't stay here), (530) 541-6495 google Cheap, fairly authentic, not as good as Berkeley's finest but some decent veggie options. Recommended by Dave Lubertozzi

Tep's Villa Roma

Italian, 3450 Lake Tahoe Blvd google menu Recommended by Richard Hatch, Mark Miller. Some vegetarian options, portions too small for Mark.
