Virginia Sugar Cookies

Cream

  • 1 1/2 c powdered sugar
  • 1 c butter

Mix in

  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract

Blend together and add

  • 2 1/2 c flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar

Chill for 2-3 hours. Divide in half and roll out. Cut and decorate with sugar.

Bake 375ยบ for 5-8 minutes.
